I remember at the Ironman Louisville last year, minutes after my body marking duties I heard the start of my first live Ironman.. I saw the hundreds of athletes waiting in line... First the pro's, then the open age groupers... I then looked up on the Deck, and saw a man playing "My Old Kentucky Home" on his Bugle, and I teared up... I know I will again this year, more so because I will be that athlete waiting to start on a 17 hour journey.
Less than 125 days... more and more chills each day!
