GO SUE GO!!! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!

TODAY was cold.. it was wet... it was sleeting.. and it was windy...

AND..

SUE CARROLL did her first 5k in a long time.. under our 2 hour goal... at 1:20! I met some awesome volunteers to start of the morning, and after my shift I went down to the 15k finish shoot to watch teammates come in... Saw some great CE folks, and saw my client Lynn come smiling across the finish line. ANY finish line is one of the most joyous, bone chilling places in the world on nasty days (or beautifl days) like today as I watch people of all ages, shapes, colors, smile for fn. before long, Lynn and I met with Sue for her 5k walk.

Sue always has a smile... she always works hard.. she "shuffels" or as I call it "dances" in zig zags beautifully. She is determined, has been training for her walk by using the eliptical, and walking our track...And throughout it all has lost over 25 lbs. so far to date... she keeps at it.. each week whether Senior Dance Class, or weight training with me... She pushes and pushes! We laugh like trains, and work hard.. and today..

SUE!! YOU DID YOUR 5k under 1:30!!

During the walk I saw some familiar faces, including one of my other clients Donna, who is pictured below!

I consider it the most warm touched complement when I have influenced, and helped a client and friend reach a goal of walking a 5k, 10k, 15k or more... These pictures are from today :) Enjoy!
