B, LH, LG, RA, RR, ARG!

This weekend I decided it was above 40 and I am doing my long run of the week outside. I prayed after work that it by chance I would have a long sleeve shirt in my trunk, and sure enough I did. I knew according to my schedule I had to run 8-9 miles, but how far is exactly 8 or so miles from work??? Due to the glory of mapmyrun, I decided to map out my run. But, when I am running, how will I know where to turn.

I decided to take a marker and right down my hand to my wrist... Budnoit, Left on Harrison, Left on Glenmore, Right on Applegate, Right on Rob, and so forth... this was going great until I got to a letter.. RH... what is H? Right on Harrison again? okay, off I go, but then my next letters were LD.. Daytona maybe.. but it is going to be on my Right, not my left.. ARG! How did I get lost...

All in all, I thought just keep running for the time that you think will take you to run that far....

I got back, red flushed skin, little cold, but drenched with sweat, and I thought there has to be a better way to map out a distanced run. I will have to figure this out before this weekend...

Mom laughed when I got home, and said the truth of the day... "Jess, It is prettttty bad that you get lost so easily, you have to write it down on your hand." Very true Mom, very true.

Until next time, I think I will take a cheat sheet.

Yes, you can use my postings. I think sharing blog material is a great idea if someone can use it. The more people that know about what we are trying to do, the better.

I love getting lost, it reminds me of being a kid again and just go out exploring, finding place you never knew about.
